    What are the requirements to become a Freemason?

    To become a Freemason, you must be a man of good character, believe in a Supreme Being, and be at least 18 years old. You should also have a genuine interest in self-improvement and helping others.

    How long does it take to become a Mason?
    The timefrme varies by lodge, but once accepted you’ll progress through the three degrees over the course a three to six months, depending on the lodge’s schedule and your own pace.
    What is the time commitment?
    Most lodges meet once a month in the evening. Beyond meetings, you can participate in social events, charitable activities, and educational programs based on your availability and interests. Fredemasonry is flexible and works around your schedule.
    Is Freemasonry a secret society?
    No, Freemasonry is not a secret society. Our members, meeting places, and charitable activities are public knowledge. What we do keep private are certain ceremonial aspects and modes of recognition, which add to the meaningful nature of our teachings.
    How much does it cost?
    Costs vary by Lodge but typically include an initiation fee and annual dues. Your Lodge will provide specific information about costs during the petition process.
