Ethan place receives Masonic donations, replaces worn flooring

1 Guest

Ethan Place has received two generous donations from our Masonic community.

EP Floor1The first was $10,000 from Jenks Lodge No. 24 and the Lawton Foundation. The second was $3,000 from Calvary Commandery No. 13, Knights Templar. Both of these donations were used to replace very worn flooring in the facility. The residents and employees of the facility want to thank our brothers in Freemasonry for their generous donations.

Ethan Place Assisted Living was opened in June 1963 as the Order of Eastern Star Home of Rhode Island under the term of Brother Leonard E. Smith, Most Worshipful Past Grand Master. The home was to serve those members of Eastern Star who desired to live with their fellow sisters and continue to care for themselves.

With the advent in 1987 of federal regulations to govern the operation of assisted living facilities, Ethan Place was licensed as an assisted living residence. Ethan Place continues to provide top-quality care to seniors and is an excellent independent living choice for those no longer able to remain in their homes or prefer to a safe environment to enjoy their lives.

EP Floor2Ethan Place has been blessed with the support of Jenks Lodge No 24 and the Lawton Foundation. The foundation provides all types of support, which helps to defray the cost to the resident. In addition, Masonic residents may qualify for a stipend to assist in paying their residential fees. Please contact us for more information at www.ethanplaceri.com.
